Booster
Club / Athletics
Its purpose is to establish policy for all CYO athletics and to establish
a Christian Code of Ethics for players and coaches.

Confirmation
Parish Office of Youth Ministry fosters holistic personal and spiritual
growth in adolescents while promoting responsible participation of youth
in the life, mission, and work of the the faith community. Volunteers
are needed to coordinate service projects and organize receptions. Requires
2-4 hours monthly.

High Planning
Adults are invited to work with youth to plan social, service and worship
activities for our parish junior high youth.

School Religious Education
Catechists are needed to share their faith with our young people. We
need folks who are good listeners, knowledgeable on topics of faith,
and who enjoy high school youth.

Youth
Ministry
In youth ministry we promote the responsible participation of youth
in the life, mission, and work of our parish community. This ministry
includes preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation and High School
and Jr. high School programming for social, service, and outreach. We
need adult volunteers for office help, telephone, publicity, and reporting
activities for the Pius Connection, director of One Act Play, chaperones
for trips and local events, coordinators of service group or trash bag
sales (just to mention a few). make Youth Ministry a priority, share
your time and talents.

Scouting
Boy
Scouts
Provides a program for 11-18 year old boys that builds character and
teaches skills. Volunteers are needed to lead, instruct, and counsel.
Requires 2-4 hours per month.
Girl
Scouts
Five or six troops are presently active, all meeting at different
times after school.
Cub
Scouts
Our program for 1st-5th grade boys provides an opportunity to develop
skills in cooperation, grow in respect for others, learn new skills,
develop new intrerests, and grow in their appereciation of the out of
doors. Volunteers are needed to offer leadership and teach new skills
for the individual dens ranging in size from 4-8 boys each.
