Please consider sharing your time and talent with one of the Spiritual Life ministries listed below.
All ministries would welcome your interest and gifts.

The Spiritual Life Commission supports the spiritual life ministries of the parish to help them be vital instruments of God's grace in our lives. This commission encompasses fifteen ministries and is the largest we have at St. Pius X. It serves as a place where its members can meet with ministry representatives and discuss ways that our ministries can be maintained, strengthened, and nourished. The Commission tries to identify resources and activities that can accomplish this. It is also a forum to identify and develop new ideas and activities that will foster the spiritual life of St. Pius X and its members.

The Spiritual Life Commission is to facilitate communication between its ministries and the Pastoral Council. The Commission chair serves as a member of the Pastoral Council. Any parishioner may serve on the Commission. It may have up to ten members. We currently have eight, so opportunities to serve exist right now! Contact Steve Willem for more information.

Spiritual Life Ministries

Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) :
A two-day, Jesus centered, spiritual renewal where a team of men, or women, of our parish share their faith stories, attend Mass together, enjoy solitude, and celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation. A time of listening, laughter, prayer, fellowship, and celebration of our loving God and Redeemer in our lives. Women's and men's weekends are held separately each spring.

Senior Adult Ministry :
This ministry serves the spiritual needs of our parishioners who are age sixty (60) and over. There are four nursing home and assisted living facilities within our parish boundaries to which we bring Eucharist on a weekly basis, celebrate Mass for the Catholic residents every three months, and administer the sacraments of Anointing of the Sick and Reconciliation as requested. The ministry is being developed to meet the needs of elders, our "wisdom" parishioners. Elders of the parish are also in an ideal position to welcome newcomers to St. Pius-X. This can be as simple as a phone call or a planned meeting at the church.
