Ministry
This
ministry serves the spiritual needs of our parishoners who are age sixty
(60) and over. There are four nursing home and assisted living facilities
within our parish boundaries to which we bring Eucharist on a weekly basis,
celebrate Mass for the Catholic residents every three months, and administer
the sacraments of Anointing of the Sick and Reconciliation as requested.
The ministry is being developed to meet the needs of elders, our "wisdom"
parishoners. Elders of the parish are also in an ideal position to welcome
newcomers to St. Pius-X. This can be as simple as a phone call or a planned
