PARENT-TO-PARENT CONTRACT

In the 1997-1998 school year, Parents of St. Pius-X school children adopted a program called Parent-To-Parent. One of the advantages offered by St. Pius-X School is its closeness as a community with similar values, and a willingness among many to help each other in our challenging task of raising our children to responsible adulthood. The Parent-To-Parent program answers a communication need in our growing school and parish that helps us as parents of maturing children. Participation in this program is a voluntary program for parents of Junior High School students. Junior high parents who have accept and want to participate in the Parent-To-Parent program are indicated by an asterisk next to their name in the annual school directory. The Parent-To-Parent contract is as follows:

As parents of Junior High students at St. Pius-X, we realize the importance of our task of guiding our children to responsible young adulthood. We also know we must work together and help each other for this to be accomplished. With this in mind we welcome any calls or contact about concerns for behavior or circumstances other parents may witness from our children. We agree to also contact you should we become aware of, or have any concerns about circumstances involving your children. We agree to operate in a non-judgemental and Christian manner with the information remaining between the parents involved. Together we can help our children stay safe and develop into outstanding citizens of our community.
