Description:
SPX fields Kickball teams in the fall for girls in grades 4-8. Teams are entered in CYO competition at
the 4th Grade, 56 and Cadet levels. CYO regulations and eligibility standards apply as outlined
on the CYO website at http://www.cyoarchindy.org.
History:
SPX has had a great deal of success in the sport of Kickball. With countless Division Champion and City
Champion teams, the Panthers have a winning tradition in Indianapolis. Go Panthers!!!!
Uniforms:
SPX Kickball uniforms for all teams consist of a short-sleeved T-shirt
with St. Pius and a kickball graphic on the front and the CYO insignia
on the sleeve. Purple mesh shorts with the CYO patch embossed
are also worn for all games. Both
can be purchased from the Kickball coordinator.
Additionally, each player should wear any type of “tennis shoe”
to enable them to kick and run. Hairclips,
watches, and any jewelry are forbidden.
Coaches: Thank you to the volunteers and their assistants
who coach our teams. Without them
there would be no Kickball program.
